Lynns Dinnerware Use & Care Instructions
Thank you for choosing Lynns dinnerware. Properly used and cared for, Lynns dinnerware will give you years of dinning enjoyment. Some variations of color and pattern are a typical characteristic of dinnerware which makes each piece of Lynns dinnerware unique. Please read through these instructions carefully.
Care and Cleaning
Wash Lynns dinnerware with mild soap or detergent in a dishwasher or by hand before first use. For patterns with metallic trim, hand wash is highly recommended. Metallic trim will wash off over time in the dishwasher but will not affect its functionality.
Rinse cups after serving coffee or tea immediately to avoid staining. Should a build up occur, soak cups in a solution of 50% liquid bleach and 50% water, then rinse thoroughly afterwards.Preparation and Use
Lynns dinnerware is designed for use in microwave, freezer or conventional ovens as indicated on the back stamp. Patterns with metallic trim MUST NOT be used in the microwave. Such use may damage the microwave and the dinnerware.
Be careful not to subject your dinnerware to sudden or extreme temperature changes (for examples, do not place immediately in freezer from the oven and vice versa).
Dishes should be at room temperature when placed in the freezer or the oven (microwave and conventional) to allow for a gradual temperature adjustment. (Oven should initially be set no higher than 225 for the first two minutes)
Oven-hot dishes should not be placed on a cold or wet surface.
Lynns dinnerware should never be placed on direct heat, stove top, broiler or under microwave browning elements.Setting and Serving
Because your new Lynns dinnerware is authentic china, the bottom of the piece is not completely glazed. If this area is rough, sanding or rubbing it against the unglazed portion of another Lynns dish will produce a smoother surface.
To avoid scratching table surfaces, use placemats or a tablecloth when serving is recommended.
To avoid scratching other dinnerware surfaces, we recommend that you put the dinnerware on top of each other with care.
