Use elbows to offset obstructions such as rafters, ridgepoles, or joists. 10"-16" DuraChimney II may have one pair of elbows, if needed. Offsets greater than 30° are not allowed. Elbows are not adjustable

When using elbows to offset and obstruction you will need to use two elbows to bring the chimney vertical again. To ensure adequate support it is required to use at least one elbow strap.
