This stunning 18-Inch to 30-Inch Peterson Real Fyre Charred American Oak Vented Propane Gas Log Set features a magnificent display of detailed hand-carved and painted barks, presenting charred impressions with golden highlights to make up the natural look of the oak wood grain. The burner kit comes complete with a custom log grate, glowing embers, silica sand, a bendable connector kit with brass fittings for a half-inch line, grate clamps, a damper clamp, and installation instructions.

Install Guidelines

Step 1: Choose a log size
The size of your log set should be appropriate to your fireplace:

Measure your fireplace taking the front width (A), the rear width (B) and the depth (C). Use the log set size that meets your fireplace's minimum dimensions.

"A" - Minimum 2" to 6" on each side of the nominal set size. In other words, if you are planning to use a 24" log set, the front opening dimension of your fireplace (A) should be at least 28".

"B" - Not less than nominal set size. So if you are planning to use a 24" log set, the rear dimension of your fireplace (B) should be at least 24" wide.

"C" - Minimum 12" to 14" (16" to 18" for see-through fireplaces).

Be careful when measuring a Pre-Fab fireplace. You will typically need a 36" fireplace (A dimension) for a 24" log set.

Step 2: Select a burner
The burner must match the log size that you have chosen.

PETERSON G45 BURNER: T-shaped additional front burner that emphasizes the front ember presentation and brings more depth to the flame. You will see more glowing embers and a small row of flames in the front with this burner, intensifying a more lifelike look for your fireplace. This burner is compatible with most Real-Fyre log styles and controls.

Step 3: Choose a valve control

• The Peterson RealFyre Safety Pilot Kit (5RP-SPK26 ) is a terrific pilot system that offers manual variable flame control. It features a low profile build and includes a heat shield. The Peterson SPK-26 Safety Pilot System is compatible with most RealFyre vented burners.
• Real Fyre APK-11 Remote On/Off Pilot System (5RP-APK11 ) allows you to manage your system using a remote control, wall switch, or the manual knob on the burner system. This system does not have variable flame height control presenting the flame always at the same height. The remote is included.
• The Peterson RealFyre Automatic Variable Flame Pilot Kit (5RP-APK15) has the capacity to adjust the flame height and heat output with an included remote control.
