This 18-Inch to 30-Inch Peterson Real Fyre Charred Split Oak Vented Propane Gas Log Set will fit any home style. Skillfully crafted and hand-painted from actual wood samples to project a natural-looking fireplace. The Charred Split Oak Log Series recreates the majestic indoor look of a burning campfire.

The burner kit composes a custom log grate, glowing embers, silica sand, a bendable connector kit with brass fittings for 1/2" line, grate clamps, a damper clamp, and installation instructions.

Installation Guidelines

Step 1: Choose a log size
The size of your log set should be appropriate to your fireplace:

Measure your fireplace by taking the front width (A), the rear width (B) and the depth (C).

Use the log set size that meets your fireplace's minimum dimensions.

"A" - Minimum 2" to 6" on each side of the nominal set size. In other words, if you are planning to use a 24" log set, the front opening dimension of your fireplace (A) should be at least 28".

"B" - Not less than nominal set size. So if you are going to use a 24" log set, the rear dimension of your fireplace (B) should be at least 24" wide.

"C" - Minimum 12" to 14" (16" to 18" for see-through fireplaces).

Be careful when measuring a Pre-Fab fireplace. You will typically need a 36" fireplace (A dimension) for a 24" log set.

Step 2: Select a burner
The burner must match the log size that you had selected.

PETERSON G45 BURNER: T-shaped, additional front burner that emphasizes the front ember display and puts more depth to the flame. You will see more glowing embers and a small row of flames in the front with this burner, creating more realism for your fireplace. This burner is compatible with most Real-Fyre log styles and controls.

Step 3: Choose a valve control

• The Peterson RealFyre Safety Pilot Kit (5RP-SPK26) is a standing pilot system that offers manual variable flame control. It features a low-profile build and includes a heat shield. The Peterson SPK-26 Safety Pilot System is compatible with most RealFyre vented burners.
• Real Fyre APK-11 Remote On/Off Pilot System (5RP-APK11) handles your system using a remote control, wall switch, or the manual knob on the burner system. This system does not have variable flame height control, always showing the flame at the same height. The remote is included.
