Why Should I Choose LED over a Metal Hallide Bulb or Light?
LEDs are much more efficient than metal halide bulbs because they last longer and use less energy. LEDs use less wattage to produce the same amount of light as metal halide bulbs, meaning they consume less energy compared to traditional lighting. LEDs produce less heat, meaning they are much more efficient in terms of energy use. Additionally, LEDs have a much longer lifespan than metal halide options that also require servicing over the years. This means that while metal halide bulbs may need to be replaced multiple times over the years, LEDs can last for much longer with no need to replace them, making them much more cost-effective in the long run.
LED lighting also emits bright lighting for better visibility to reduce the risk of accidents in workspaces. By choosing an LED ready high bay fixture, you can create a well-lit and safe environment. See the next section below for LED tubes that are compatible with this fixture that can be purchased on LightUp as well.
