The 7" DuraPlus Thru-the-Wall Kit contains all the components needed to install a 7" chimney (excluding black stove pipe and DuraPlus chimney sections) through the wall and up the side of your home.

This kit includes the following: from the cap down

7" DuraPlus Rain Cap - Required where chimney pipe terminates above the roof line. Removable screws allow for cleaning of the chimney and spark arrestor screen. Includes spark arrestor screen.

7" DuraPlus Galvanized Wall Straps - Use this wall strap when running DuraPlus Chimney through an outside wall. It will help keep the chimney straight and secure. Made of galvanized steel and then painted black.

7" DuraPlus Galvanized Tee with Cap - Use for through the wall chimney installations. The tee clean-out cap is removable for easy chimney cleaning or inspection. Wall straps, a wall thimble , and a tee support must be installed with the tee as directed. Tees have a 1" insulation blanket. Ventilation air for chimney must be drawn from outdoors.

7" DuraPlus Tee Support Bracket - A tee support is used with a side-wall DuraPlus Chimney installation. The construction of the tee support will safely support up to 35' of DuraPlus Chimney. A Tee mounts to the top of the support. The tee support should always be used in conjunction with a DuraPlus Wall Thimble.

7" DuraPlus 7" x 9" Chimney Pipe - Use when passing through the wall thimble when you are passing DuraPlus Chimney through an outside wall. It must be installed with the wall thimble. This length connects to the Tee on the outside of the building. Then one of three adaptors are used to connect the appliance connector pipe. Use a Snap-Lock Adaptor, or a DuraBlack Slip Connector to transition to single-wall stovepipe or use a Close Clearance Adaptor to transition to DVL Double-Wall Stovepipe.

7" DuraPlus Wall Thimble - Use this wall thimble when passing DuraPlus Chimney through an outside wall. It must be installed with a length of chimney passing through it. This length connects to the Tee on the outside of the building. Then one of three adaptors are used to connect the appliance connector pipe. Use a Snap-Lock Adaptor, or a DuraBlack Slip Connector to transition to single-wall stovepipe or use a Close Clearance Adaptor to transition to DVL Double-Wall Stovepipe. Wall thimble requires a 14 1/2" x 14 1/2" frame opening. Wall thimble includes trim.

7" DuraPlus Adapters - Required to connect the stove pipe to the chimney pipe and there are several options to choose from depending on your requirements.

  Slip Connector - Item Number 1771 - Use to connect DuraBlack single wall stove pipe to the ceiling support box. Use the slip connector if you do not have any other adjustable stove pipe length between your stove and support box. This adapter will provide a 3" to 13" slip fitting without having to cut pipe for a perfect fit. Only connects to rigid DuraBlack stove pipe, and cannot be used with telescoping pipe lengths.

  DuraBlack Chimney Adapter - Item Number 8778 - This adapter is recommended to connect DuraBlack single-wall stove pipe to DuraPlus or DuraTech chimney pipe if you do not require adjustability in your stove pipe height. You can also use this adapter to connect DVL double-wall stove pipe to DuraPlus or DuraTech chimney.

  Snap Lock Adapter - Item Number 6791 - Snaps into your ceiling support boxor finishing collar and extends down to fit into the stovepipe. Provides a drip-free connection to DuraTech, DuraPlus, DuraPlus HTC chimney pipe or DuraLiner chimney liner.

  DVL Adapter - Item Number 8775 - Use to connect from double-wall DVL to DuraTech, DuraPlus, DuraPlus HTC, and DuraLiner for a through-the-wall or ceiling support installation. Required for proper connection. Provides a strong mechanical connection. Painted black.

Additional Information:

The DuraPlus all-fuel chimney system is for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, stoves, ranges, water heaters and other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal or gas. The innovative triple wall construction is designed to stay cool on the outside and provide hot drafts on the inside to boost stove efficiency which, in turn, makes for a fire-safe construction that protects both the chimney as well as the building. The triple wall chimney features 2 insulating layers; a ceramic blanket and air space provide security to the design. The ceramic blanket insulation is held securely in position eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulation. In the event of a creosote fire, the compressible blanket insulation allows the chimney liner to expand outwardly in a radial direction.

DuraPlus components make for easy installations offering a precision twist-lock connection that secures without the use of gaskets or sealants. Safety and efficiency of the chimney is maintained after the installation with a 2" minimum clearance to combustibles.
