Take your flags to the pedestal with this beautiful 50-Foot Architectural Series EC50 Satin Flagpole. This pole carries an external halyard and is installed with a ground set, cone-tapered aluminum material. It perfectly towers 50 feet above the ground from its total shaft length of 55 feet. It presents a terrific stance because of its diameters measuring 10 inches at the bottom and 4 inches at the top. This pole withstands a maximum of 185 mph unflagged and 115 mph flagged wind speed ratings with its 0.188 aluminum wall thickness. Complement this pole having a suitable 10 feet x 15 feet flag size.
This Architectural Series EC50 Satin Flagpole offers a standard satin finish, and also in clear, bronze, and black anodized finish at an additional cost. Aluminum flagpoles need little maintenance to sustain their natural shine, but anodized poles have a simpler solution to make them last longer. The satin-brushed finished flagpoles usually keep clean with the rainfall in most areas, however, due to their aluminum exterior body, they will continue to oxidize throughout their lifetime. Special cleaning agents may be required to eliminate the discoloration caused by oxidation. The anodized flagpoles would not be a problem because it puts on a barrier on the external surface of the aluminum flagpole, thus resisting the oxidation process. With an anodized finish, the aluminum is not exposed to the elements, preventing it to oxidize. Anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water. For this reason, we recommend the purchase of an anodized finish for your flagpoles. Anodized poles take maximum time to ship because they are made to order.
Flagpoles with sizes up to 35 feet are shipped as one-piece poles, while ones above 35 feet are shipped in sections and fitted with a self-aligning sleeve that requires no field welding. Commercial poles ship by truck and our shipping calculator is not able to accurately calculate the cost. For more information about buying a commercial grade flagpole click here.
If you plan on flying 2 flags, you will need to order an extra set of flag snaps and snap covers.
