This incredible scene during the San Diego Chargers 17th annual "Salute to the Military" game on September 1 against the San Fransisco 49ers steals the show with an enormous billowing American flag, being held up by Marines and Sailors on the field. Approximately 100 Marines from the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar received field-level tickets and joined the event. The 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band entertained 49,817 Charger and 49er fans during halftime while welcoming the patrons with static displays from military installations across Southern California.
