Details
Choose a flagpole that can resist a maximum of 179 mph unflagged and 117 mph flagged wind speed ratings with its 0.188 aluminum wall thickness. The 35-Foot Deluxe IH Series EC35IH Flagpole has an internal halyard ground set cone tapered aluminum structure that stands 35 feet above the ground from its overall shaft length of 38.5 feet and a 3.5-inch top and 7-inch butt pole diameters. This pole carries an ideal 6 feet x 10 feet sized flag to fly beautifully at its top end.
This flagstaff features a winch installed to its shaft's interior that works exclusively with a detachable crank handle. While the stainless steel cable unwinds from the winch, it passes up through the inside of this flagpole shaft, over the truck sheave to the shaft's exterior, where the retaining ring presents a sliding anchor. This pole has a heavily coated neoprene counterweight linked to the retaining ring lowering the halyard for fastening or removing the flag. The halyard is then lifted completely out of reach of vandals.
This ground set pole has a standard satin finish but is also available in clear, bronze, and black anodized finish at an additional price. While aluminum flagpoles call for little maintenance to keep their natural shine, anodized flagpoles have an easier way of taking care of them. The satin-brushed finished flagpoles normally keep clean with the rainfall in most areas, but the exterior of the flagpole is aluminum, so it oxidizes as time goes by. Special cleaning agents may be necessary to take out the discoloration caused by oxidation. The anodized flagpoles barricade the external surface of the aluminum flagpole through anodization, eliminating oxidation. The aluminum is not exposed to the elements with an anodized finish, making it hold out against oxidizing. The anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water. It is advised that you use an anodized finish on all of your flagpole needs.
Anodized poles take maximum time to ship because they are made to order.
Flagpoles with sizes up to 35 feet ship as one-piece poles, while those that have sizes above 35 feet ship in sections and fit with a self-aligning sleeve that requires no field welding.
