This flagpole contains a winch mounted inside its shaft that operates only with a removable crank handle. While the stainless steel cable unrolls from the winch, it goes up through the flagpole shaft interior, over the truck sheave to the shaft's exterior, where the retaining ring offers a sliding anchor. This pole has a heavily covered neoprene counterweight connected to the retaining ring lowering the halyard for fastening or detaching the flag. Special cleaning agents may be necessary to take out the discoloration caused by oxidation. The anodized flagpoles barricade the external surface of the aluminum flagpole through anodization, eliminating oxidation. The aluminum is not exposed to the elements with an anodized finish, making it hold out against oxidizing. The anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water. It is advised that you use an anodized finish on all of your flagpole needs.

Flagpoles with sizes up to 35 feet ship as one-piece poles, while those that have sizes above 35 feet ship in sections and fit with a self-aligning sleeve that requires no field welding.
