Details
Outstanding in quality and towering in height, the 70-Foot Deluxe IH Series EC70IH Flagpole operates by having a winch mounted to its shaft's interior that works only with a removable crank handle. As the stainless steel cable unwinds from the winch, it passes up through the inside of this flagpole shaft, over the truck sheave to the shaft's exterior, where the retaining ring offers a sliding anchor. This pole is heavily coated with a neoprene counterweight attached to the retaining ring lowering the halyard for fastening or removing the flag. The halyard is then raised totally, preventing vandalism.
This flagpole features an internal halyard ground set cone tapered aluminum structure that assists your 15 feet x 25 feet sized flag at the top of its 70-foot above ground height. It has an overall shaft length of 77 feet with a 4-inch top and 12-inch butt pole diameters. This flagpole withstands a maximum of 169 mph unflagged and 105 mph flagged wind speed ratings with its 0.250 aluminum wall thickness.
This ground set pole has a standard satin finish but also offers a clear, bronze, and black anodized finish at an additional cost. While aluminum flagpoles require little maintenance to retain their natural shine, anodized flagpoles have a simpler process of sustaining them. The satin-brushed finished flagpoles normally keep clean with the rainfall in most areas, but the exterior of the flagpole is aluminum, so it oxidizes as time goes by. Special cleaning agents may be necessary to get rid of the discoloration caused by oxidation. The anodized flagpoles set a barrier on the external surface of the aluminum flagpole through anodization, eliminating oxidation. The aluminum is not exposed to the elements with an anodized finish, protecting it from oxidizing. The anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water. It is recommended that you use an anodized finish on all of your flagpoles.
Anodized poles take maximum time to ship because they are made to order.
Flagpoles with sizes up to 35 feet ship as one-piece poles, while those that have sizes above 35 feet ship in sections and fit with a self-aligning sleeve that requires no field welding.
