Details
The 40-Foot Deluxe IH Series ECA40IH Flagpole accentuates an internal halyard ground set cone tapered aluminum construction, rising 40 feet above the flooring from its total shaft length of 44 feet with a 3.5-inch top and 8-inch butt pole diameters. This pole complements beautifully with an 8 feet x 12 feet sized flag, and it has the capacity to hold out against a maximum of 171 mph unflagged and 110 mph flagged wind speed ratings because of its 0.156 aluminum wall thickness.
This internal halyard pole offers a winch mounted to its shaft's interior that operates exclusively with a removable crank handle. While the stainless steel cable uncoils from the winch, it goes up through the inside of this flagpole shaft, over the truck sheave to the shaft's exterior, where the retaining ring shows a sliding anchor. This pole has a heavily coated neoprene counterweight attached to the retaining ring lowering the halyard for fastening or taking out the flag. The halyard is then raised completely out of reach of vandals.
This ground set pole has a standard satin finish but is also available in clear, bronze, and black anodized finish at an additional price. While aluminum flagpoles need little maintenance to retain their natural shine, anodized flagpoles have an easier way of taking care of them. The satin-brushed finished flagpoles usually keep clean with the rainfall in most areas, but the exterior of the flagpole is aluminum, so it oxidizes through its lifetime. Special cleaning agents may be required to remove the discoloration caused by oxidation. The anodized flagpoles block the external surface of the aluminum flagpole through anodization, eliminating oxidation. The aluminum is not exposed to the elements with an anodized finish, making it withstand oxidizing. The anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water. It is recommended that you use an anodized finish on all of your flagpole needs.
Anodized poles take maximum time to ship because they are made to order.
Flagpoles with sizes up to 35 feet ship as one-piece poles, while those that have sizes above 35 feet ship in sections and fit with a self-aligning sleeve that requires no field welding.
