Have something so good not only in taste but also to your body. The Irish Breakfast Teabags brews a strong blend with a deep malty tea with an astringent taste that savors the palate. It is made of February Kenya BP1 and second flush Assam that presents a wonderful color and a full-bodied infusion. This tea comes in pyramid-shaped bags to produce better infusions. Brew this tea for a good long time to bring out a stronger taste, then add some milk to take out the tanning and lessen the bitterness.

The caffeine content of this tea is MEDIUM. This tea contains natural caffeine found in the L. Camellia Sinensis family. A cup of black tea steeped in boiled water for 5 minutes will contain between 27 to 35 milligrams of caffeine. An equal-sized cup of coffee will contain between 80 to 100 milligrams of caffeine. Caffeine quickly becomes soluble in very hot water. If you wish to reduce the caffeine level in this tea, briefly rinsing the tea leaves in extremely hot water will reduce the caffeine content between 25-50% with only a minor effect on taste.
This tea's antioxidant content is HIGH. The longer you steep your tea, the more polyphenols will be extracted, based on the test results of 5 minutes steeping time. Polyphenol percentages may fluctuate with the lot, grade of tea, testing method, the temperature of the water, and freshness of the tea. More antioxidants are extracted from the L. Camellia Sinesis tea when it is brewed longer and get a greater antioxidant benefit when more tea is used.
