He is a skilled woodworker and metallic designer who produces the finest bellows on the market. Each bellows is painstakingly carved with his own hands, making every bellows a one of a kind item! This bellows is carved from eastern pine and features a genuine suede cowhide bellow finished off with a solid brass nozzle. They relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1979 and set up their bellows factory. A tag on each Johnny Beard bellows has an ink drawing depicting this first workshop. After several expansions and many years later, Johnny Beard Company still operates out of this same workshop in Tulsa.
