Indulge in the Intriguing Blend of Night of the Iguana Chocolate Chai
The Night of the Iguana Chocolate Chai Tea blend from English Tea Store is as intricate as it is delicious. Named after American playwright Tennessee Williams' famous play, this full-bodied black Assam tea was developed to be as equally as complex as his famous drama. Added to give this tea the spice it deserves are white chocolate, caramel, and spices from the Malibar Coast of India including ginger, cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper.
For a perfect brew, we recommend bringing freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place a heaping teaspoon of tea for each cup into the teapot and pour boiling water over the leaves. Let steep for at least 7 minutes, to bring out the "true" chai taste. While the tea is steeping, prepare your cup - use about 2 teaspoons of sugar, and fill about 20% of the cup's volume with milk.
Ingredients: Black tea, Ginger, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Black+White pepper, Clove, Nutmeg, Calendula petals, Natural flavors (organic compliant).
Cup Characteristics: Creamy Madagascar vanilla notes dance with tingling Malabar Coast spices. A lively ginger finish is accentuated by candy cardamom.
Antioxidant Level: High
Caffeine Level: Medium
Growing Altitudes: 500 - 8500 feet above sea level.
Grade: OP (Orange Pekoe)
