The satin-brushed finished flagpoles usually keep clean with the rainfall in most areas. But since the exterior of the flagpole is aluminum, its satin poles still continue to oxidize throughout its lifetime. Special cleaning agents are necessary to remove the discoloration from oxidation. The anodized flagpoles, on one hand, creates a barrier on the external surface of the aluminum flagpole to get rid of oxidation. With the aluminum anodized and is not exposed to the elements, it cannot oxidize. The anodized finishes allow you to clean your flagpole with simple soap and water. We strongly recommend the purchase of an anodized finish for your flagpole display.
