Designed with a two-part, high-tech gasket system, this damper provides an extremely effective, airtight seal by utilizing a liquid gasket, which hardens to form an efficient seal. The primary gasket sits in a channel inside the damper frame, while the secondary, liquid gasket, sits underneath the front portion of the damper lid. These two gaskets provide the most efficient seal possible! When closed, this low-profile damper is a great solution for saving “paid” energy dollars for homes with leaky or missing dampers.
