Spring in Place de la Madeleine Rooibos Tea - Loose Leaf

Is there anything more romantic than springtime in Paris? American musician Cole Porter certainly didn't think so when he famously penned his classic "I love Paris". In the song, made famous by Ella Fitzgerald he writes:

Every time I look down on, this timeless town
Whether blue or gray be her skies
Whether loud be her cheers or whether soft be her tears
More and more do I realize that, I love Paris in the spring time
We couldn't have said, or sung it better ourselves. What we can do to express our enthusiasm for springtime in the city of lights,
is craft a tea in her honor.

To do so, we sought inspiration from one of the city's most famous locales, Place de la Madeleine, in the 8th arrondissement. Named after the famous L'église de la Madeleine (Church of Madeleine), this famous district lies just north of the Place de la Concorde, just west of Place Vendôme and just east of L'église Saint-Augustin, in other words, right at the heart of Paris.

Once we settled on a place and a name, we blended our rainbow rooibos, selected to reflect the colors and sounds of spring, with candy eggs to represent Easter, (known in French as Pâques). The result is as flavorful and vivacious as the city herself. In the cup, this one offers notes of fruit and Amaretto that will have you searching for plane tickets from the first sip.

Antioxidant Content:Medium. The longer you steep your tea the more polyphenols will be extracted. (Test results based on 5 minutes steeping time. Polyphenol percentages may fluctuate with lot, grade of tea, testing method, temperature of water and freshness of tea). More antioxidants are extracted from tea (L. Camellia Sinesis) the longer it is brewed. And the more tea is used, the greater the antioxidant benefit.
